This week, Keadue Rovers defeated Ballybofey Utd and a draw for the Colin Breslin Cup led to a final match in the league.
The group consisted of two groups of five people each. In the semi-finals, each side will play once in the top two.

In ideal conditions, Oran Fallon caused problems on the front lines, the home team took the lead and both played at a decent pace.
Ballybofey has grown into a game and Daity McMahon has made a good effort for well-saved visitors. Another chance fell to Keadue, and Odhran Gallagher moved well to the bottom left in the 16th minute, ending with a wide shot of a distant post.
However, Ballybofey has taken a lot of ownership in the middle of the park, and by 30 minutes Keedew had improved, shortly after which a free kick on the left met on Keedew’s head and keeper. Ballybofey takes the lead in the 35th minute.
They recovered well, pushing Ballybofey back towards the end of the first half, creating half the chance, but the defense was not tested. In the second half, with a few shifts, Keadue began to take control, and when the ball found Odhran Gallagher in the 49th minute, it was almost level.
Keydu leveled off in the 55th minute when Ethan McCaffrey turned Odran Gallagher’s inswinger corner to the net. At this stage they were at the top and Gallagher was approaching the hourmark post again. On the left side of the penalty area, when Oran Fallon’s good work led to a cross caught by Odran Gallagher, several more shifts followed in place of Keedu, who advanced to 67 minutes.
Ballybofey responded well and was almost equalizing when Jackward blocked a shot at the penalty spot in the 78th minute. The game was end-to-end at this stage, and when Ballybofey pushed, Keydu had a chance to take a break and could easily add to their tally.
When Matthew Comiskey’s fineball scored with Tristan Boyle’s goal, they climbed 3-1 in the 86th minute. Two minutes later, the impressive Daithi McMahon scored a great free kick to the corner of the net.
However, Keadue waited three points to finish the league well. The best for Ballybofey were Daity McMahon and Barry Magee, and the best for Keydu were Odran Gallagher, Oran Fallon and Matthew Comiskey.
