Monster trucks and tractor pulling during entertainment at the Summit County Fair

Tallmadge, Ohio – From agriculture to animals, food and entertainment, the Summit County Fair has something for everyone to enjoy this year.

The fair is from July 26th to 31st at 229 E. Howe Rd in Tall Mudge. It will be held at the Summit County Fairgrounds in. The 6-day fair will be held by the Summit County Agricultural Association, as it has been since 1850. The theme of this year’s fair is “Fair Lady’s Week”.

General admission has gone from $ 7 last year to $ 10. According to Kathy Cunningham, director and fair secretary of the Summit County Fair, the Summit County Fairboard had planned to increase admission last year but was postponed due to a pandemic.

The 66-acre trade fair offers more than 250 food and commercial vendors, carnival rides, exhibits and daily stand entertainment.

Exhibits include livestock, agriculture, art, bakery and canning. Members of the Summit County Junior Fair and 4-H Club will also showcase completed projects in categories such as animal science. Clothing and Textile Science; Food and Nutrition; Healthy Living; Leadership and Citizenship; Natural Resources; STEM and Workforce Preparation.

Grandstand entertainment includes motocross. Dismantling and compact derby. KOI drag racing; truck pulls; tractor pulling and monster trucks. Other entertainment includes magic, music, dance acts, pet parades, and meal contests featuring lemons, pickles, and pizza. The Family Circus Dominges variety show, which starred in “America’s Got Talent,” is held daily.

Tuesday, July 26

• Admission: $ 10 for ages 9-64. $ 3 for young people aged 2-8. $ 3 for ages 65 and up.All-day ride pass is $ 20 until 11:00 pm
• Grand Stand Entertainment: 7:30 pm OMA motocross tickets are $ 5 for ages 3 and up.

Wednesday, July 27

• Admission: $ 10 for ages 9-64. $ 3 for young people aged 2-8. $ 3 for ages 65 and up.All-day ride pass is $ 20 until 11:00 pm
• Grand Stand Entertainment: Powerwheel demo at 6:15 pm, dismantling and compact derby tickets at 7:30 pm for $ 10 or $ 12, respectively.

Thursday, July 28 (Family Day)

• Admission: $ 10 for ages 15-64. Free for young people up to 14 years old. $ 3 for ages 65 and up.All-day ride pass is $ 15 until 11:00 pm
• Grand Stand Entertainment: 7:30 pm KOI Drag Race Admission is free.

Friday, July 29 (Acron-Canton Regional Food Bank Day)

• Admission: $ 10 for ages 9-64. $ 3 for young people aged 2-8. $ 3 for ages 65 and up. Participants can bring canned or boxed non-perishable food and receive a fair admission fee for $ 3.All-day ride pass is $ 20 until 11:00 pm
• Grand Stand Entertainment: Tickets for children over 3 years old to pull a truck at 7:30 pm are $ 10.

Saturday, July 30

• Admission: $ 10 for ages 9-64. $ 3 for young people aged 2-8. $ 3 for ages 65 and up.All-day ride pass is $ 20 until 11:00 pm
• Grand Stand Entertainment: At 7pm, a tractor pulling ticket is $ 8 for ages 3 and up.

July 31st (Sun)

• Admission: $ 10 for ages 9-64. $ 3 for young people aged 2-8. $ 3 for ages 65 and up.All-day ride pass is $ 20 until 8 pm
• Grand Stand Entertainment: The 3:00 pm Monster Truck Fun Zone will be held from 1:00 pm to 2:30 pm. Tickets are $ 10 each for ages 3 and up.
